“Boys in the Hood” is a series of interviews with players of the enormously popular computergame “Grand Theft Auto”.
The players give a detailed description of the games’ rooms and remember the adventures they experienced in the game.
Like that, various perspectives of the games’ rooms come in sight. Through the description of the story the line between “real” experiences in the physic world and the media-arranged experiences inside the game starts to blur, for both – narrator and observer. Just this fine line between media-room and so-called real-room, seems to vanish in present living space, more and more.
